Engineering for the Depths: 11,000 Meters

Designed to withstand the extreme pressure of the deep sea, this model is water-resistant to an incredible depth of 11,000 meters. At the heart of this resilience is the patented Ringlock system, which uses a nitrogen-alloyed steel ring to absorb the pressure on the 9.5 mm thick sapphire crystal. Additionally, the helium escape valve ensures that excess gas can safely escape during decompression, without damaging the case.

Imposing Presence and Caliber 3230

With a diameter of 50 mm, this is the largest commercial watch in Rolex's history, ensuring maximum legibility through the long-lasting blue glow of the Chromalight display. This giant is powered by the in-house Caliber 3230 movement, equipped with the Chronergy escapement and the blue Parachrom hairspring, to offer ultimate precision and a power reserve of approximately 70 hours.
